Hey ho, exams is 12 days away! I am dead nervous but progress is slow ): maybe i should stop looking on facebook. -_- yes. its the internet's fault. Please take time to read the description because it is a memorable shoot to me! ><
This was a shoot done couple of months ago back in Malaysia. It was a rather impromptu and last minute cosplay. dang, i need to stop being so impromptu. It was supposed to be a cosplay of me and Rachel as Rin from Fate/Stay Night. But i couldnt finish my armor in time ): I had only a week to make the armor and because i had lots of stuff going on that week, i technically had just a few nights to work on this full piece armor. It was my first time making a breast plate. wasn't the best but I really liked the painting *shys* But yes, it was crazy. I had no time for fitting after it was done and i realized in the morning of the photo shoot that the side thigh armors were a lil bit too small. I remade it in less then 2 hrs (Thank God the sun was out or the paint wouldnt have dried and i wouldnt have been able to make it to the shoot). I ended up showing up for the shoot like a zombie. -_- literally. i was dead tired from the lack of sleep and that really affected my make up and complexion. U can really sort of see the difference from my other cosplays >< i was so sad about it!!!!!! -____- because this was my last shot! and Saber being one of my favs, i overexerted with the expressions and killed some of the fotos. /dies/dies/dies. + i was tired. it was written all over my face. Oh, and we wanted to do a kind of effect where the Excalibur was coming out from the invisible sword.
A big big big thank you to the photographers was making space for this shoot although it was so last minute. Thank you so much! Do check out their page. they have great works. And again I apologize for not performing 100%.
Prop Making info (if u want to know): Just foam, spray paint, acrylic, thread and needle, glue gun, and solder gun for the armor. Same for the sword and with an extended pipe, which was made by Rachel, my beloved partner. This wouldn't have been possible without her.
